The words in the classic Christmas song say that ‘the weather outside is frightful’.
But when I woke up this morning and looked through this window…
I found the weather delightful!
Yesterday we had a freezing fog that left everything covered in crystaline beauty.
I love this fence after a frost!
Then last night we got several inches of snow that only added to the wonder.
This tree is so graceful and beautiful and I have always loved it…
This morning it looked like a stately queen crowned and wrapped in a mantle of white glory.
This fir tree reminded me of a proper gentleman, strong, sensible, and handsome in his white covering.
The dog wood in the backyard gave the impression on a fun loving girl.
And the crab apple in the front yard looked like a fashionable society woman with her fancy beads of red strung around her.
The orchard had the appearance of orderly ranks of soldiers lined up and waiting for something important.
Even the trees that still have leaves on them were frosted into beauty.
And the only tracks in the snow were my own solitary prints as I enjoyed the delightful world around me!

Oh Larelle! It’s just *beautamus*!!!
Thanks for the post!
Wow, that is a lot of snow and frost! Our first “dusting” of snow yesterday melted off in moments.
It was such a blast to come see your “Winter Wonderland” as compared to my own! Ry and I had a blast sledding and having snowball fights; thanks for having us over! Hopefully we can do it again this winter!
