This past Saturday we opened for u-picking, and the response we had was HUGE!! Everyone had a blast picking their own cherries, and I thought that you would enjoy seeing some pictures…
This family drove over from the west side and stayed around for a good part of the day, just enjoying the farm.
If you pick Rainiers then you get a hay ride to the field. This family, including grandma, grandpa, and cousins, was having a fun day at the farm!

Our youngest helper was working hard too. He needed some help with the math, but he thought he was sooo BIG while he was helping people weigh their fruit.
When they got done picking cherries everyone had a really fun time playing on the tire swings!
We will be open for u-picking now through the middle of July, when the fruit is gone. If you are going to come out always check the website for our hours and current list of fruit we are picking.
And don’t forget to come see us this Saturday July 3rd. Our Blueberry Daze Festival will start at 8 a.m. In addition to our wonderful cherries, our blueberries will be ripe and ready for picking, and we will have antique and handcrafted goods for sale by wonderful vendors, live bluegrass music by the Hahner Family Band, and great food!
