A week ago, we were going to plant pumpkins. So ‘we’, using that term rather loosely, got the field ready, and the irrigation in place, and now, several days after we originally intended too…
…we planted pumpkins!
Our helpful crew, of young and old, spent the morning measuring and planting the seeds.
We have big pumpkins, little pumpkins, carving pumpkins, pie pumpkins, orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, green pumpkins…. and so on!
We also have a great variety of squash that will be delicious this winter, and some fabulous gourds that will make great fall decorations!
I can hardly wait to see the seeds start to come up, and grow into the vines that will produce pumpkins!
