Bill- When I was alot younger my dad had an old car hood that we used for sledding. He had about 50 ft. of rope tied to the car hood and to the back of the pickup or tractor. Very cheap fun in the winter time. He would pull us out across the mint fields or hay fields. When we were froze we would come into the house and warm up with hot cocoa. Would love to have those days back.

We absolutely LOVED coming to the Blueberry Daze Festival and Antiques on the Farm. This was our first time, and we will definitely be making it an annual tradition. We had my sister visiting with us from out of town (she lives in a larger city) and she kept commenting on the the close-knit feel and the all around warmth from everyone there. Our kids had a blast and we all enjoyed the delicious blueberry doughnuts! The antiques were so much fun to look through. I actually wanted to know who the vendor was that had the vintage kids clothing that she had made. Her booth was set up next to the music stage. I wanted to come back and look more closely at her stuff, but we weren't able to. Such fun stuff! Thank you Michener Family!

Hey Farmgirl Larelle (aka my sweet niece!)

Just wanted you to know that I might have to argue, just a little, on the qualifications of the title of "farmgirl". :o)

As you know, we live on a "hobbyfarm" (5 acres), where we raise chickens for farm fresh eggs, sheep for meat for the freezer, goats for yummy fresh milk and an abundance of veggies and berries from our garden. Of course we also have some other animals that we love on... like our dogs and cats and one cute bunny. And we enjoy riding all of our beautiful horses and playing with our cute little ponies as well!

Small "hobby" farm or large farm, if you are raising food & animals to feed your family then I think that is what being farmgirl is all about!

Love ya bunches :o)
Your Aunt Janae aka farmgirl of Willow Creek Farm

PS Your doing an awesome job on the blogging!
